About me: I'm young at heart and in very good health. I enjoy walking, hiking, kayaking, gardening, cooking, reading, knitting and other arts/crafts. As a political Independent, I'm disgusted with the NeoCons and not all that impressed by the opposition either. Aging is so much better than dying young, so I accept it philosophically. My current pet is a cat, but I also love dogs. I'm independent, competent, and nowhere near desperate but would love to have a best friend with whom to share a meal, watch a movie, visit a museum, or discuss ideas.
