About me:

I opted to drop out of the happy hour scene about 6 years ago... It isn't where I wanted my life to be lived. And, it's not where I want to be 5 years from now... Maybe you've grown up too. I dont mind going out for a good time now and then--but I'd really rather do something else now ... stay home and watch a movie or do something as silly as hit the grocery store, get some steaks, and make dinner together with a bottle of wine... Then again, I'd also share my passion for rooting for MD Football/Basketball with someone...or take in a movie on a Saturday night...even window shopping in a historic city or planting things together in the yard can be fun. I'm more focused on the quality of a relationship than a wild time out. Nothing you tell me will shock me! I'm leary of people who say they LOVE being alone...Although I like spending time with my friends, and cherish their presence, I dont date them. I am, however, very capable of and comfortable being alone...I guess that is both a blessing and a curse huh? It would be great to find someone to share all I've been blessed with, but I don't fight being single. If it is meant to "happen" it will. I have a desire to understand what drives your thoughts, emotions, passions and how to please you. We should become complete and loyal (without judgement) best friends. Find extreme pleasure in everyday life events shared or not. I will insist you maintain your identity and encourage you to be yourself at all times. Most importantly, I am a woman of substance, intelligence, presence and integrity who will adore you and treat you in the way you had always hoped for and deserve.

I am looking for that special guy who can make me laugh and enjoy happiness alongside me...someone emotionally balanced who isn't afraid of showing passion--in love and life. An independant thinker without being a jerk about it ... A loving guy--but not a smothering guy. Someone who's not afraid to show affection in public ... and prefers my company (doesn't look for excuses to go with the boys, tho it's fine with me if he goes whenever he wants). I dont need to be on your pedestal...but I want to be one of the first things on your mind before and after you sleep. Someone who isn't intimidated by a "girl" who is responsible, caring, generous, a sports nut, one might say a hell of a catch:). The right guy--one who has the ability to accept my good fortune inlife instead of resenting me for it, or one who doesn't hide behind their own lack of joie de vie with the old "I'm overwelmed by my hectic schedule, or I'm still a work in progress or I need to find myself" cop outs.
