A bit out of focus...but it's me all the same

About me:: I love to smile and laugh and do so often. I don't have tons of free time, but like to hike and cook when I find some. I'm overall optimistic, impulsive, and just plain goofy sometimes. I'm a first year medical student, looking to work in some sort of global health or refugee relief capacity and travel...in time. It'll be a while...nine years or so. I'm really a nerd at heart...which I guess is good since I'm going to be a doctor. I live with my cat and 2 fish, and prefer a horse to horsepower, though modern culture seems to disagree with me on that one, since Walmart doesn't exactly have hitching posts outside. I was born and raised in north Georgia. Alright...those are all the random facts I can think of...besides the fact that I do have a fancy for 80's hair rock and love to sing.
I'm looking for:: Do I actually expect to find the love of my life on here? No, but I might meet some interesting people along the way. I want to be with a man of similar beliefs (Christian). Age doesn't matter so much, though I draw the line at old enough to be my father :P I'm looking for someone who likes to laugh as much as I do, enjoys and can hold conversation, and pursues his goals in life. And, in the end, intelligence is more attractive to me than just about anything.
