About me:

I think dating is a lot like shopping for a car ( the relationship is the car, not the guy!): You have some idea what you're going to need it for, and what you like. So you look at a lot of them, narrow it down to a few and then start test driving. Sometimes you find out it drives great but there's not enough cup holders. Sometimes you fall in love with it but it just really hurts your back too much. And even tho you think you can't live without it, the next car you drive makes you forget all about that last one. And sometimes you find out all kinds of options that you never thought about, but now you have to have them. My lifestyle is changing so I don't have a very good idea what kind of vehicle I'm going to want and I'm not sure where I'm going in this vehicle. I know I'm not the roughing it type, not the partying, barhopping type, and I don't like animals that much. I do like Honda Goldwings, but Harley's are little too rough for me. I do like to go to cultural events. I'm learning to belly dance, and really want to learn to ballroom dance but I need a partner. I'm kind of a computer/technical geek. I love my job, and I like the flexible schedule it allows me, especially because that gives me time to swim in the afternoons during the summer, or spend some time test driving or traveling.

I'm looking for:

I do want a partner to share the drive with. When I test drive, I like to try it out from all perspectives. I want to try driving, and being a passenger. So I have to find a partner that I trust to do the driving, and who is also willing to let me drive occasionally. And he should be willing to let friends come along once in a while. I don't mind if he wants to take the rough roads just to see what the vehicle can handle, but I don't want to be kept off balance all the time. Most of the time I like to plan where I'm going, and then enjoy any surprises that pop up along the way.
I'm generally a cautious driver and I like for my traveling companion to feel secure with me, and to enjoy the trip as much as I do. If the vehicle, or the destination doesn't suit us, I'm willing to make some changes and see if we can both be accommodated. So if any of that interests you, come on a test drive with me. It can be a short casual trip or a long intense one, whatever is comfortable for both of us!
