About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

I would have to say that I have a positive outlook on life regardless of all that has been thrown at me. I am full of energy, versatility, and adventurousness. In addition, I enjoy travelling anywhere and everywhere when I have the time. Friends would describe me as being honest, trustworthy, generous and sincere, with a passion for justice. Being that I teach special education you could say that I am on the side of the underdog in society and I will fight for any cause I believe to be just. Finally, I balance loyalty with independence.


First and far most I am dedicated to my family, friends and my job. Some may say that at times I am overdedicated to my job but when you love the job that you are doing you want to always put all you have into it. This is my seventh year teaching special education students and I would not trade it in for the world. Watching a young adult walk into a classroom in September and seeing them graduate in June reaching all expectations and goals is extremly rewarding. When teaching the same class all week long, over 25 hours a week, I am able to learn each childs strengths and weaknesses and to guide them towards a future of success. My current and former students continue to update me on their progress and it is overwhelming to hear how well many of them are doing in high school.

As of right now I have achieved many of my dreams yet I am falling short in some. I have completed my Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree which have given me the tools needed to teach. I recieved a scholarship in college to play volleyball for a D2 team. Though, I have not yet married, purchased a house or begun to start a family. In due time I am sure all of this will happen. In life you can not just settle for less then you deserve so when the time comes I will know and all will fall into place.

I'm looking for:

My ideal match would be a man who values family and friends. One who shares the same interests as I do and is down to earth. Who is willing to experience anything and everything. Someone who respects, honors and cherishes what he has. Finally, someone who is honest and will be supportive at all times.
