About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

I'm extremely handsome for such an ugly guy (don't exactly stop traffic, but I don't stop clocks either--not the good ones anyway.) I've also been told I look especially good in the dark. Although Mr. America's title is quite safe, by exercising almost daily, I have been able to keep myself in the same shape I was as a teenager---oblong.

Believe my best qualities are principles, character, attitude and values. Quite open to ideas and beliefs differing from mine as long as they are presented with knowledge and logic.

I have a wide variety of interests. Basicly I enjoy most everything except operas, ballets and beets. (Not too fond of whips and chains either.) Very likely if those important to me are enjoying themselves, I'll be having a BLAST!

I love dogs, have a low tolerance for cats. Kinda neutral about goldfish. I'm not at all materialistic. Could care less what the Jones have as long as they keep it on their side of the fence. :-)Firmly believe what you are is FAR more important than what you have. Also noticed that what many people think they own actually owns them. And, let's face it. If one is on this site, they aren't exactly destitute.

OOPS! Almost forgot. I lied to you--yeah, I know, ALREADY! :-) I'm 64 rather than 54. Hopefully you will bear in mind, that's the oldest I've been my entire life----and, I was premature. Believe you'll find that it virtually every aspect, I'm much younger than that chronological figure implies. I've also written a book of humorous poems and earned my black belt in Go-ju karate.

I have a rather unique outlook on life and would like to find someone open to considering new ideas, guided more by reasoning and logic rather blindly following traditions.

My ideal match will always value people and principles above possessions. Although I'm not attracted too those very much overweight(no more than 15 extra pounds please),character, personality and attitudes are far more important than looks. One develops the former, the latter is mostly the fortunes of genetics. And its been my experience folks tend to get uglier or better looking as you get to know them. It would also be nice if they enjoyed Lots of affection, plenty of passion, an abundance of romance and their desire for these things remains strong.
