About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

Like most vegans I am slim, of average hight and 45years young. I am what you would call a "recovering hippie" having being somewhat "forced" by life's circumstances to shelve the ‘ideals’ and partially embrace the materialistic and hedonistic society; living a socially isolated and natural lifestyle, whilst remaining an obscure part of ‘samity’.

I am an active member of our local climate action group and do whatever I can to help out. Most of my contribution revolves around computer work as I have necessarily become somewhat isolationist - in a social sense - to safeguard my own sanity and assure my survival.

I live alone on a beautiful headland that is the essence of beauty and solitude, although only ten minutes out of Coffs Harbour. I tend to be a bit fussy and my friends need to take this with a pinch of salt. I have some great friends which I value. My fussiness runs to being clean and neat although I love my 24 year old "bomb" Ford; my faithful chariot of many years. I am fit, healthy and active, but like time to myself on occasions. I am optimistic that I will eventually be able to link up with a partner and go back to the land and live a more productive and sustainable life. Currently my indulgent lifestyle holds me captive to my beautiful hideaway.

Like everything else that has materialized out of our crazy past generations, I am somewhat bruised from my early childhood, but I went on to develop a sense of family when I joined a religous/spiritual group and stayed on their farm for five of the 9 years I was a member. I eventually left when my sense of humour showed itself to be at odds with their stricter sense of propriety and religiosity.

I'm looking for:

I want a partner who desires to understands and appreciates those she is intimately connected to. Above all else, I want a best friend as a life partner. Whether or not you are "the one" should not be the criteria by which you decide to contact me. Any meaningful interaction with like minded people I always find welcome and appreciated. I don’t think anyone can have too many quality friends.
