About me: I would describe myself as down-to-earth, sensitive, attractive, gullible (but not naive), goofy and fun-loving. At times, I lack a filter but I'm never crude. I have the memory of a gnat; some folks would call it 'sometimers', a mild version of Alzheimer’s! I am also self diagnosed as having OCD; I'm a touch controlling and I like things done my way (but you won't mind ‘cuz my way's the best anyway!) I'm not defective, just a product of a type-A personality and society's expectations of a young, successful professional.
I have brown eyes, long curly brown hair, olive skin, and I'm obsessed with maintaining a slim figure. I have a tattoo (mostly hidden from sight) and a belly-button ring (rarely seen except during bikini season). I have a terrible 'poker-face' (can't lie to save my life!) and I wear my emotions on my sleeve. I love playful puppies and soft, cuddly kittens (but then again who doesn't?)
I enjoy cooking and discovering new wines. I can bake an awesome pecan pie! I like spending time outdoors except during the cold winter months when I tend to hibernate. However, I can be coaxed out for an afternoon of snowboarding or a few drinks in the hot tub. When the weather is warm, I make time to go hiking, fishing, and tend to my vegetable garden. I like going to the beach (this proves to be quite a challenge in the Midwest) and I enjoy foreign travel.
I define my taste in music as eclectic. In my vast CD collection, you will find the likes of ABBA, Beastie Boys, Dave Matthews, and the best of Tim McGraw (in alphabetical order of course!) I am also entertained by a variety of movies in the romance/drama and suspense/thriller genres. I'm a little more picky when it comes to comedy (didn't care much for Ferris Bueller's day off or any of the Adam Sandler movies). Some of my favorite movies include Pirates of the Caribbean, Supertroopers, What Dreams May Come, the Matrix, and Finding Nemo.
I'm looking for: You would describe yourself as 28-42 years old, tall (5'10"+), having a healthy/fit physique (not afraid of keeping up with me on 3.5 mile/day run), good sense of humor/witty, professional (when appropriate) but not uptight, smart, and very confident. You must be sweet, considerate, genuine, and sincere.
I hate know-it-alls, couch-potatoes, slobs, and whiners. I dislike hard-core heavy metal music and gansta rap (please keep the bling bling to a minimum). My pet peeves include infrequent showering and hand washing, pokey/indecisive driving, inappropriate PDA (public display of affection) and PDF (public display of flatulence). I have a preference for men who have more hair on their head than on their chest (I would gladly wax your back/chest for you but preferably not on our first date...heeheee). Owning a dog (or a cat) and a motorcycle is definitely a plus!
