About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

Have a good sense of humor and like to go exploring. I like to try new things, mostly outdoor activities. I'm into golf, snorkeling and scuba diving. I have fallen off a surf board once or twice but don't list that in my list of accomplished activities.
Not the kind of person to hang out in clubs, but I do like to go out and have a good time with friends. I am family orientated, even though I have never had children, I make sure that my parents, siblings and nieces and nephews are looked after. I try to keep up with some sort of physical fitness regime, mostly running but occasionally I throw in some weights.

I'm looking for:

Someone that is independent, adventurous, financially mindful, physically fit and family oriented. Lets take a look at these qualities.
Independent: Someone who has there own interests and is not afraid to stand up for themselves. Have your own thoughts and ideas but not to the extent that you always have to be right, know when to pick your battles.
Adventurous: Not afraid to try new things, able to see life as an opportunity not a chore.
Financially mindful: Not everyone is Bill Gates so know how much you make and live within your budget.
Physically fit: Not looking for supermodel body, just someone who can workout with me and not complain. I'm not any sort of gym rat to say the least. Being in the military my job demands that I stay in shape and I know the benefits of good health.
Family orientated: Friends, job and acquaintances should all be second to family. It doesn't matter if you have children, I helped raise my nieces and nephews from babies so I am quite use to kids. Before I moved to Hawaii my nephew had been living with me for the last four years.
