About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

I tend to be a bit quiet and shy around people I don't know but probably talk far too much around people I do, I'm not usually offended when friends tell me to shut up though!

My main hobby is travelling, I love explore new places and experience new things, I very rarely visit the same place twice as there's so many other places I haven't visited yet, The exception is Western Canada which is a fantastic place to ski. My reason for picking a destination can be scenery, wildlife, culture, history or more often some combination of the four. I'll try most things from high-altitude treks and camping to luxury tours, so long as there's interesting stuff to see, I don't think I could spend 2 weeks on a beach though.

What I'm not travelling, which for obvious reasons in most of the time unfortunately, I probably spend a bit too much time surfing the Internet, I also listen to Radio 4 a lot but rarely watch telly or listen to music, people seem to find the latter very odd for some reason. It's not that I don't like music, on the odd occasions I do listen it can be anything from Classical through Disco, Folk and Jazz to Rock. I used to read a lot too, I seem to have got out of the habit though, this is probably not a good thing.

I've also got out of the habit of going to the cinema, mainly because I don't seem to have had anyone to go with recently I think. I don't tend to watch anything particularly deep when I do go I'm afraid, anything by Pixar is worth watching in my experience, apart from that it tends to be the usual Hollywood action movies.

I haven't got any pets at the moment because I live in flat and it's not allowed, if I did have one it'd be a cat although I don't mind proper dogs. Collies, labradors, grey hounds and alsatians are examples of proper dogs, Yorkies, Chihuahuas, Pekingese and Shih Tzu are not.

I'm looking for:

I'm looking for Someone I can hold a conversation with and not run out of things to say after five minutes. You should also like to travel, particularly to more unusual locations, I've got a long list of places I'd still like see and it's always more fun with company. Appreciating my relaxed approach to tidying up would probably help too. If your idea of the perfect night out is getting bladdered in a loud night club then I'm probably not what you're looking for and you should move quickly onto the next profile.
