About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: Love working on old houses, cars, partner dancing, singing (shapenote and with the local Morris dancers), cards (bridge, pinnochle, hearts, poker, cribbage), swimming, trivia, crossword puzzles, good documentaries, Gin & Tonic, Friends of Jung lectures, tennis, . I think I'm an INTJ on that Myers-Briggs thing. Lived in Portland all my life, really love this city, central SE, bike/walk to Laurelhurst and Mt. Tabor. Well-read, fairly smart. Want to create an interesting, fun life here with someone like-minded. Enjoying good friends, food and conversation... Preferably anti-Bush, interesting professionally, Good with words/language a plus. What else? Openminded, good-natured, nice is good. Mind of her own. Partner in crime. Working in the yard, swimming @ the river, walks through old SE neighborhoods, tennis, making new friends, entertaining friends. Simple things...:
I'm looking for:: For fun:
Lots of partner & folk dancing, dabble in astrology & tarot cards, love playing cards, swimming, restoring old homes, Mr. Fixit stuff, making people laugh. Figuring out how things work, have good hands & mind--love to use them.

my job:
Got burned out in Hi-Tech, now work part-time doing electrical work for friends. Low/no overhead, no bills, no ex-spouses/kids. Like to live simply/minimalistly in terms of stuff.

my education:
Catholic grade school (have lifetime suppy of fuel for irreverency ;o), Franklin High School & PCC. 2 year Engr. degree, did High-Tech for 10 years & am now a journeyman electrician.

favorite hot spots:
I've been to Europe, NZ & Australia. Love playing in fountains downtown & Gorge waterfalls & river swimming when its hot out.

favorite things:
Recent binge of all Michael Crichton's novels, Thomas Moore (contemporary), dancing, swimming, cards, walking, holding hands, kissing, creating new things. Love good English drama/comedies: A Room with a View, 4 Weddings, Masterpiece

last read:
Just finished the "Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown. Great book, will be recommending this one, from here on out. Very pro-feminine & exposes Catholic discrediting women, pagan belifes, goddess worship & an excellent mystery
