About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: Me? Well I like to live and have a good time. You only get one chance at it so when there is the opportunity to socialise/meet up with friends to see a local band or whatever, I go. I love to dance. I also like dirt track speedway and have been attending the local speedway in the summer months for as long as I can recall. I am a qualified horticulturist so all things plants be it scientific or gardening, I like. In fact I like and am in interested in, all earth sciences.
I play cards (euchre and 500), love the bush and country, beach, fishing, fossicking, music music music (pop, country rock, oldies, and some new age). Not a movie buff at all - prefer documentaries, current affairs, sports (cricket and tennis).
I would describe myself as very diplomatic, friendly, fun and outgoing. I am very honest and expect the same in any potential partner. I do not like loud or aggressive people.
I have been separated for sometime and will be divorced in November 2009.
I'm looking for:: Firstly I will want to chat to see if there is any common ground/attraction/interest to meet (so be prepared to communicate). I live in regional-rural northern NSW and my job can be demanding at times. Prefer someone who understands that - if you are rural based or background that would be a bonus but not essential.
Physically you will need to be tall and on the slim/slender/athletic/average side. If you also have a quiet confidence, share some of my interests and are a music lover of similar genres to my own, that would definitely get my interest!
Preferably you will live within a reasonable driving distance - its just too hard otherwise. I quite like well-kept beards, earrings (ears only) but not a fan of tattoos (one is OK). If you are moody, have a temper, and/or are overly possessive, then pass me by. I am up for any friendly, intelligent chat so if you think we may have something in common, then please message me and I will reply.
