About me:

I'm a divorced man with two teenage sons--16 and 18. They live nearby, and I've been able to include them in my life every other weekend and one night a week for the last 15 years. My oldest is going to Syracuse next year--a straight A student and an eagle scout! the younger one still has 3 yrs to go.

My favorite things to do are wine/dining, day trips, exploring, movies, hiking, sailing, and travel when I can. I even enjoy window shopping when exploring new places, finding a great little cafe serving something different and interesting, and of course cooking a meal together and then snuggling to watch a movie! Personally, I'd describe myself as warm, friendly, smart, and generally well-rounded and my goal is to be as balanced as possible.

I write software for a private trading firm outside the city; been there 9 yrs now. Before that I was an independent consultant for 10yrs. And I also run a web site that sells sales tax rate data (I know! so esoteric!)

I did get married again 5yrs ago and am in the process of getting divorced--my lawyer tells me another 4 mos until final (knock wood). This is someone I met online--a doctor from Venezuela who moved here but because of visa requirements we probably got married before we really knew we wanted to or should.

I've traveled pretty well in this hemisphere from Canada to Brasil and also to France twice. I love the culture, art, history, languages, wine and foods of Europe! Next on my list are Barcelona, Florence, and Vienna.
