About me: I am an artist. For many years I was a poet and my work is still in certain anthologies available in bookstores. My computer paintings have won many international competitions and they have been featured on calendars and in national art magazines. Presently I am working on a screenplay and a novel. This is what I do. But it is only achieved through a higher order of relationships I have sustained with others. In a large sense, my relationship with my earliest girlfriends, my late wife, and my most recent ex-girlfriend, have always taken precedence in my life, and these have been the education that has most informed my art. I also work with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). I help families dealing with mentally ill loved ones, as well as patients afflicted with mental illnesses. I find this a very satisfying endeavor. In my spare time I watch foreign films, listen to a large assortment of music (currently, 11,000 songs on my iPod), including jazz, blues, classical, alternative--actually, just about anything except country, western, and evangelical. I am very active in outdoor activities, including kayaking, hiking, biking, climbing, rappelling, and camping. I work out 2 hours every day and I am athletic in build.
I'm looking for: My ideal match--sounds so phony. So my phony woman would have a sense-of-humor, wit, intelligence, and she would be athletic in build so we could share some of the many outdoor activities I enjoy. She would be relatively young compared to me. This is also important as I am not your run-of-the-mill older man. I am very sexually oriented, and quite young looking. I am also very young intellectually. I am basically a laid back man, but inside I can be very complex. I try not to be demanding and I will give on a lot of points, but I cannot abide lieing or cheating. I forgive, but there is a limit. I am a special man and I deserve a special woman.
