About me: I'm 5'10 half Italian, half Spanish. I'm 35 years old, just got stationed in Portsmouth, VA. I was with the Marine Corps before I joined the Coast Guard. I'm liking it better, it's more way laid back compared to the Corps. My hobbies include reading, playing video games, surfing the Net, going to the movies and taking an ocassional walk on the beach, I find it to be pretty soothing. I tend to be kinda the old school romantic, the one that likes to open the door for you, taking you to a nice restaurant, buy you flowers and occasionally buying you a box of chocolates. Work wise I'm an Information systems tech or more commonly known by its acronym IT. I do have some college under my belt and I'm planning on finishing up my college degree by taking online classes. Sports wise, I'm not a fanatic, although I like watching Ice hockey games a lot better than football.
Politics wise, I tend to be down the center. I tend to be a bit more liberal on social issues although I'm conservative when it comes to fiscal matters. I'm not religious whatsoever, I believe in the possibility of something after death, however I don't dwell on it at all, that might explain why
I dislike religious fundamentalists, and the fact that they tend to be intolerant and quite arrogant doesn't help them at all. I try to be rational about things, like when it comes to relationships, why rush things, I believe in taking things easy, get to know the person, have fun with that person and then see where it leads.
I'm looking for: For my potential mate, I'm looking between 23 and 35 years old. Personality wise, she should be witty, down to earth, sweet, be laid back, I'm not expecting a Miss Universe type, just somebody that's at least average looking, and intelligent and also somebody that can be sexy at times.
