About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

I am looking for someone that I am compatable with. I like to take walks, hike, scuba dive, read, dine out, dine in. I am a Registered Nurse and Hospital Administrator. I also teach nursing to LVN students on Saturdays... this is quite fulfilling as I believe there is no greater gift than passing on one's knowledge to the next generation. I have a grown son who is my heart. He's a great young man going to college and working. I am a Registered Nurse by background. I was on the open heart team for many years and surgical services is my specialty. For the past 7 years I have been in Healthcare Administration and I'm currently the COO/CNO of a local hospital. I had a wonderful marriage for the most of 16 years. I have no bitterness like many of the women I know who have gone through a divorce. I have nothing but good things to say about my ex. We simply grew apart after our son left for college. I think we couldn't figure out how to turn the attention back to each other. I am Italian, so I am, of course, Catholic. I go to church on occassion. I do love the beauty of the Catholic church and the sermons. I like the music and the symobolism and rituals. However, I take from the church what I need and what makes sense...

I'm looking for:

I don't know who my ideal match would be... Someone I am attracted to intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially; able to have an enjoyable time in most settings. Conversation and chemistry is a must. I also enjoy my home and entertaining at times. A professional person would be nice but not essential. I think likenessess in a couple are usually more successful than opposites (although they may indeed attract)! Most probably a combination of both would be the most interesting in a relationship. He must be compassionate of others and like to cook as I do not. I do make a mean Thanksgiving Day Feast, cheesecake and sour creme chocolate chip cake. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile!
