About me:

I have a lot of compassion for people and animals and this is important to me. I’m easy-going yet have strong convictions, accepting and not judgmental, and welcome a conversation about anything with anyone. I’ve had 5 lifetimes worth of experiences and I’m not done. I’ve been all over the U.S., spent a year in China, and a little time in South Korea doing research. Some of my favorite things to do are going to some sort of roundtable discussion or lecture, I don’t even care about what, but my all-time favorite activity is jumping around watching the Browns. So, please schedule your spa, shoe shopping, and man-bashings on Sundays from 1:00-4:00 if you don’t like watching Brown’s football. I love music, seeing shows and playing guitar, open-mic nights or any kind of self-exploratative activity and exploring others through their chosen mediums. Don’t bother trying to figure me out just take it as it comes...I love getting my a** kicked going to see a band like Clutch or Lars Fredriksen, yet I’ll be sitting down watching Tori Amos or ani difranco perform the next day. I’m a pretty smart guy, then again I’m often humbled by someone I read or listen to and I welcome it. Right now I’m looking into grad school and will have my applications in by the end of the year. I love my friends, have the sweetest mom in the world, and have four awesome sisters!

Spiritually, my upbringing was Christian, but I find inspiration, value and wisdom across many different spiritual paths and I enjoy and value digging into this part of myself.

As for you… I enjoy my life and the people in it and I would like a special woman to share it with. Finding someone with shared interests is definitely cool, but spending time with a person with completely different interests and experiences is also cool too. I’m pretty accepting and I really don’t have a particular type but I do tend to gravitate toward the artistic, the intellectual, the spiritual and the punk girls. I think tattoos on girls are sexy and I love women who are feminine. I think a long dress and a sweater is much sexier than a little shirt and a mini-skirt. I’d like to meet someone who is comfortable in her own skin, strong in her convictions and will, and not willing to change her reality to make it fit into mine; but at the same time be completely open to and unafraid of the prospect should it occur. I want someone who can teach me both mentally and emotionally, and vice versa, or maybe just learn together. I want someone who is kind and compassionate, yet at the same time tell me in no uncertain terms when she thinks I’m being an a**hole. A bonus if she’s a romantic. Other qualities I like: passionate, intense yet laid-back, can be as good to me as I am to her, maybe a bit of a tortured soul (is able to see the tremendous beauty that is juxtaposed against the tremendous suffering), values her spirituality, very sensual, capable of really being there with me in the moment when we are intimate, seeks tenderness when it comes to intimacy yet is not hung-up, flamboyant sometimes yet shy others, capable of being humble, understands that whatever gifts we are born with belong to the greater whole, can adore me and recognize and appreciate that I adore her.
