About me:

Ok time for an update as I've had a profile on this site for about 6mths. Some would call me optomistic for trying out a dating site and they may be right but I guess I do have an element of scpeticism about finding a "match" on the net. Im more of a doer than a talker so actions speak louder than words in my world. In saying that I'm friendly,outgoing,and chatty with a soft shy side ... sometimes. Ive been separated nearly two years and I'm really happy with my life, but Im missing that connection that you enjoy when you are with someone special. I love going out for a few drinks in the local and putting the world to rights and having interesting and funny debates with anyone who happens to be in the pub. Love long lazy dinners, going dancing, watching a movie, having friends over, karaoke nights,weekends away and doing fun outdoors activities. Also a gadget freak (lol)and love fixing and setting up ipods etc for my friends BUT music is my passion apart from my children. I love all types apart from heavy metal/trance and trad music(like Steely Dan/Eagles/Florence & the Machine/Sade to elbow/Neyo/Taio Cruz..a bit schizophrenic my taste but hey thats me! I'm into jogging and generally being active. I'm a Cancarian so Im very affectionate, romantic ...and a good listener...Oh yes very important to note that....99% of the time I'm late so please bear this in mind if we ever meet!! I'm looking for:

I'm not, repeat NOT looking for an intimate encounter.... but am looking for a guy to go on a few dates with and maybe get to know better and hopefully find someone to enjoy a real relationship with and all the good bits (and bad bits) that go along with that ie..nights out/in by he fire...snorting on your drink because your laughing so much at something together....weekends away..meeting each others friends...you get my drift... My ideal match would be confident,open about himself...self assured....happy with life,respectful of people, someone who knows what they want from life/relationships. Understanding of the fact that I have children is a must. Chatty, guys with a mature mind and a wicked sense of humour intregue me!! Able to drive/travel, and fit in a few dates into their busy schedule?? Thoughtful, spontanious people who pay attention to the little things impress me.
