I grew up in a blue collar home but always liked school so I continued. As a result, I have an education but am down to earth as well. My daughter lives with me for a week at a time, every other week. Her mom and I get along well and my daughter has not experienced any problems as a result of the two of us dating other people as she is well adjusted. I like to try new things (not all of the time) and am spontaneous and impulsive if it is harmless and fun. Cooking is a great pleasure of mine when I have the time and I like many types of food. I play the guitar and sing a bit and have a friend who has great porch parties in the summer. In terms of humour, I am usually the one pulling off a one liner and love to banter back and forth. In terms of romance, I would rather give you flowers for no apparent reason, or because I think you are wonderful(I am a romantic and that doesn't change, it is either part of you or not) than to send the obligatory box of chocolates on Valentines day. I love to give and receive physical attention, whether it be holding hands, a hug, or a back rub. The other stuff just works itself out from there. I play golf, badminton, ice skate (no hockey), do home repairs, have done a little travelling - would like to do more as time and finances permit, like woodworking, tobagganing and a host of other things. The important thing about my interests is that I am not fanatical about any of them. I have a house (in conjunction with the bank) and although my career gets a little busy once in a while I really like my job.

I'm looking for:

In my mind, the ideal woman would be 5'7' or less, have an average body and a good sense of humour. I have no preference in terms of ethnic background or hair colour. And the next contestant on the Price is Right is the list of qualities that I admire most:
A)Compassion and tolerance B)The ability to admit that you have made a mistake (I do it all the time whether it be with my boss or daughter)
C)Understanding that there is often more than one truth or perception to be accepted about a situation.
D)Being able to laugh at yourself, and of course, others
E)Someone who enjoys all forms of emotional and physical intimacy

To be candid, I believe that people contact one another because there is an initial spark after seeing someone's picture and reading their profile. If I contact you, and this is not the case for you, you can just send a really simple email, ie. "Thanks but I am not interested" and that is the last you will hear from me, aside from a thank you note for being honest. If you have posted or sent a picture, you can expect the same in return.
