About me:

I'm down to earth and don't take myself too seriously most of the time - which leads to a good sense of humor, emotional security (most of the time), financial security (except after a big shopping spree) and being easy to please (low-maintenance). I'm very nurturing, have great friends and am close to my family. I'm loyal and romantic and am not constantly looking for someone to entertain me. I like to travel, and love photography and reading. I'm not good about exercising most of the time but I'm trying really hard right now. I love to dance and would like to learn some line dances, ballroom or almost any dance. I like gardening but don't do it as much as I'd like. My music taste is all over but country is probably my favorite. I also like Kenny G and some of the older artists like Kris Kristofferson. I enjoy most foods and love to try new ethnic foods. I especially love Mexican foods but also like Indian and Greek dishes at some of the restaurants in Chicago. I'm not a big sports nut but love to go to live hockey games or even watch them on TV occasionally.

I'm looking for someone who is . . . Fun loving, emotionally and financially secure (at least to the degree that I am). Someone who enjoys family and friends getting together for special occasions or just to hang out and have a BBQ and play cards. Prefer non-smoker but not a deal breaker. Drug users are a deal breaker! Someone who has a good heart and tries to do the right thing most of the time. I like men who have a good work ethic and enjoy doing odd jobs around the house. I don't have to be on the go all the time but would prefer someone who doesn't spend every evening and weekend on the sofa.
