About me:

I originally grew up in Chicago, but at the age of 15 moved to a small town in Missouri for a few years, and loved it; I like smaller towns. Joined the military over 20 years ago, was married for 24 years (now recently divorced), and have two wonderful sons, 18 and 23. I like country music, chess, cards, movies, playing almost any sport, watching some sports (go Bears), classic Mustangs, most old cars, board games, good conversation, and challenges. There are many more things that I like, just ask me and I will tell you. I am going to be stationed in Alaska in mid July, and am looking forward to experiencing the Great White North.

I'm looking for:

On a first date we would meet somewhere for drinks, chatter, and get to know each other. Does not have to be drinks, but somewhere casual where we are not "pot committed" (can leave without too much awkardness) if we are not "clicking". Additionally, we could prearrange to have a friend call us 30 minutes after our meet time and both/either understand if we said "I have to leave" after our friend's phone call--sure sign there would not be a second date, lol.
