This is me during one of my first hikes in Denali. Pretty tame one up Mt Healy, but great fun.

About me:: I am passionate about learning, from the kitchen to the classroom. I have always enjoyed both. In between, I enjoy the outdoors. I am quite new to Alaska but I have a spirit of adventure running through me. My sense of humor is pretty broad. I just love to laugh and enjoy good company. Traveling has been a big interest of mine for a long time and I am fortunate to have seen different parts of the world and to have met so many wonderful people. I'm looking to keep that going in Alaska! I live in the interior off the Parks Hwy. but I go to Anchorage and Fairbanks frequently.
I'm looking for:: I'm looking for someone who knows what it means to be a friend; I like hearing others' stories and listening to their interests. I enjoy hanging out with people who like to read, listen to music, be outdoors. Sports fan? Definitely a plus, but I'm not an addict. I like relaxing at home with a book, candles lit, some hot tea...if you like the quiet times as much as going out and being a bit more lively, I think we'd get along well.
