About me:

My background...
I'm currently a college student studying to earn my Doctorate of Pharmacy. Contrary to how that sounds, I'm not actually as dull or obsessive compulsive as your average pharmacist. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm in the wrong major. But at least it will pay well out of college! I'm attaining a religious studies minor more for shits and giggles than anything else. My parents were both teachers so I was raised well in Toledo, Ohio by good people who actually know a thing or two. I worked at a golf course (as a caddy and bag room attendant)for 8 years from Junior High through my freshman year in college. I went to an all boys catholic school (Saint Francis de Sales High School if you're interested) which means I have manners but which does not mean that I'm a fundamentalist of any kind (though I can pretend to be one if need be). I'm actually pretty neutral on religion. Technically I'm Catholic but my principle is that it doesn't matter what you believe, only what you do. Now for some other stuff about me...
Every St. Patrick's day I dress up as a leprechaun (see profile pic). I drink socially but not usually for any other reason. I'm kind of a recluse at times and I love to watch as many movies as I can get my hands on. I'm extremely honest (too much so at times), reliable, and completely faithful to my friends and people I date. I don't ever mean to intentionally hurt anybody. The quality people most think of when asked about me is my sense of humor and my ability to make them laugh.

I'm not sure what the hell I'm looking for anymore. I have horrible luck with the women I date. I never make the first move. I'm generally shy except around my friends (or anywhere near them). I don't need sex like most men and I'm not planning on having sex again until marriage if possible. I am however open to other things...

I'm looking for:

- I'm not necessarily looking for a serious relationship but I'm definitely looking for someone who can take a relationship seriously.
- As liberal as I am, political lean means absolutely nothing to me in terms of people I date. Some of my best friends are republican and I enjoy discussing various issues with them. I tend to move them more to towards the center (don't tell them that).
- I'm really not too picky. If you look average and you have a good personality, I'll give it a go.
- I'd prefer to find someone who can share a love of movies with me and who is slightly more than just a casual watcher. At my fraternity house, we watch movies more than anything.
- I'm a non-smoker and I'd prefer a non-smoker but the only reason it matters is because I don't want my future significant other dying 20 years before I do. I don't mind smoking in itself, almost everyone I know is a smoker (at least a hookah smoker) and smoke doesn't bother me. I can live with it either way.
- I've yet to meet a person I can't get along with in some aspect. If you can piss me off, then you are a "special" kind of person.
- I'm always willing to work hard at relationships but keep in mind that I am a man. I can't read minds! If you have a problem, you need to come to me not send telepathy.
- I've been in long distance relationships and short distance ones. I prefer short distance ones but it really doesn't matter as long as you're willing to try.
- In my major, it is possible to get very stressed from time to time. If I'm stressed, it may seem that I am angry at you but that is never the case. I usually just need to relax in one way... or another ;)
