About me: I'm a 51 year old widow seeking friends first and then??? who knows. I have worked some unusual jobs for a female: maximum security prison, private investigations, chasing/apprehending shoplifters, steel mill. Now work in the "safe and sane world of psychiatry". I like to read, prefer nonfiction, but will read fiction if it's an author I like. Don't watch TV. Love all kinds of music from Classic Rock and Roll to Opera to Classical to Celtic. Love the theater, concerts, dining out, movies. For exercise, I use the gym in my house, walk, or swim. my 85 year old father lives with me and I take care of him.

Must be gentle and easy going... don't like macho or anyone with anger issues. Don't mind if you like sports, but I'm not a fan...and don't want a sports addict. if all you know is sports, please pass me by. Just want someone to swap ideas with, debate, and do things with. if you enjoy flea markets/auctions, great. if you like a bit of light gardening, excellent. I don't need a man to "do" things for me or give me things. What I need done I can do myself or pay to have it done. If I want something, I buy it. What I want is someone who doesn't mind being fully present in the moment.
