About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

I prefer to live simply because it may cut out some of the day to day drama. I think way outside of the box so I just go with the flow. After moving and shaking I am where I need to be. I have custody of my 3 yr. old granddaughter. We have been together for two years. She is a treasure to be with. Her life has been difficult from the beginning. I left college after taking custody as it was not possible to maintain that life and take care of her. It is important to become friends in order to see if there is any chemistry. Many just want to jump into something after a few emails. If someone is willing to walk with me and not run there may be the chance for more. I am very analytical and learned growing up to approach things with the eye of the tiger.
I am humerous and sensitive. I am from NYC, but love the country life. I suppose there is more to that than I know about, but I would be willing to learn, except I have no interest in hunting.
I am pretty much a home body, I like music from the oldies to the 70's. They bring back some good times. I read, collect books, do some flower gardening and raise house plants. I also practice Feng Shui which is a practice of using nature to bring in positive energies or chi. Nothing religious about it, just a way of life and serenity. I take take care of the birds, hummingbirds, and an occassional racoon come to eat the bird seeds from the ground. I just love all nature has to offer. I do have two cats and two dogs to add to the brood.

I'm looking for:

A person needs to have good sense and a sense of humor. Someone who is willing to be open and not judge who I am based on what they read about me or see. I want to be accepted for the person I am. I don't have any interest in playing mind games. C'mon and keep it real. I would like for someone in a relationship to be a lover and my best friend.
It is almost impossible to describe and ideal match. When you try to pin point exacts you may miss out on a good thing. The one thing I am interested in is someone with a strong character, an equal. An ability to laugh at life's problems is always a good thing. Just be yourself and if interested we can take things from there. One final note: If you say that you don't want kids, keep in mind that I wear many hats so my granddaughter won't need anyone else to raise her, she has me.
