About me: I'm an active, happy, energetic, thoughtful man. I'm fully retired from my salaried work but keep very busy with my avocations of hiking, boating on Lake Champlain, reading, and snowshoeing along with library and legion volunteering. When not engaged in those activities I'm usually walking and try to do three miles of power walking each day. Enjoy dancing to the oldies and even some of the newbys. Find it to be a very nice way to get to know someone while getting exercise.
I'm looking for: Looking for a woman of substance, a woman who will test me both physically and mentally. A physically fit, yet shapely woman of intellect who can keep up on the hike or on the snowshoes as well as in the library. Yes, a woman who, in every sense of the word, earns her cocktail or glass of wine at the end of the day. Drinks taken as we watch the sun go down behind the Adirondacks over Lake Champlain or watch the flames dance in the fireplace as snow falls lightly on the land.
