About me: Very happily separated and I've enjoyed having a bit of time on my own to recharge my batteries. However, I'm ready to start a new life (given half a chance!) in 2008. Having someone to share some quiet but passionate moments with would be great. I like to think that I am a young romantic at heart and I feel that I have something to offer for that special woman.
I enjoy travelling, a wide range of music (dance, ska, blues, indie), a decent read and good films, including fairly arty foreign language ones. I enjoy chatting over a drink and, although I'm a 51 year old pen pusher, I like to think that I have a younger outlook on life and I like to enjoy myself. I have a good sense of humour; often it's a bit "off the wall". I like kids and dogs, although sometimes I get mixed up with who to throw the stick for. I'm not a typical accountant - God forbid - I have a pulse!
I'm looking for: I prefer slimmer women with a good sense of humour, who know their own mind and who are not afraid to show it. I'm trying hard to be a good listener, so someone with something to say would find me, I hope, receptive. I'd also like this special woman to have a bit of passion inside her. I have no idea what I want from this site, but a wee bit of romance would be nice,though, and I am probably looking for someone long-term although I'm not in any great hurry. UPDATE at May 2008 - I've met someone through the site, so maybe it all works!
