About me:: Warm, loving and self-assured mid-life woman, with self-knowledge and the ability to be present with each day, and enjoy the beauty of life...have a gift for teaching, a vast love of animals and nature, and music and rhythm part of my everyday life. Have a curious, quick mind....am a reader, good at conversation but even better at deep listening. Although I am from NYC and have lived overseas, Vermont is home....I connect to it with a complex sense of place...friends, community, forests, water, politics, landscape, still rural nature, opportunity for quiet. Cannot package my decades of living in more detail here....and leave that open to further communication.
I'm looking for:: A man who is happy with himself, his life....who can laugh, play,reflect, grow in partnership, be a companion, friend, lover. Someone who is accepting of his life and mine...who can be social as well as intimate and private. Animal lover a must...another dog is in my future.

Ideal is never possible....we are all imperfect, emotional, and creating a relationship can be daunting. I need to meet someone who is truly up to it....who has the time, energy, and interest to get a relationship off the ground and then maintain it.
