About me: My style:
My closet has practically nothing but Abercrombie & Fitch and Ruehl. Throw on one or two leather accessories, one of my Fossil watches, and finally my Oakley Romeos and I'm ready for either work or going out.
My taste in media:
Rock music is mainly what you'll hear me listen to by choice. My favorite bands turn out to be those good at both hard and soft songs (e.g. Hinder, Three Days Grace, Seether, Papa Roach, etc.). You'll find I pay very close attention to the words of a song. Fine, after that fact, I'll admit I was the boy in high school that made mixtapes for the girls he liked...
Toilet-humor or romance comedies are my favorite movies, Wedding Crashers topping the list. You can convince me to watch just about any kind of move at least once though (especially on blu-ray).
Be ready for me to say "...that reminds me of an episode of South Park" in more than half of our conversations. South Park rules when it comes to ripping on the stupid hypes and controversies in this world. I also like reality t.v. and true forensics stories.
My hobbies:
Since I started college in '99, I've played so many hours of basketball. You'd cringe if you heard my list of injuries. My buddies call me "White Kareem", i.e., my secret weapon is the hook shot.
My undergraduate years is also when I became a serious pool player. When I'd visit my mother in the summer at the military base she was stationed at, pool was one of the activities which was free, i.e. perfect for a college student. When at school, since I never got into drinking, hustling drunks was a way to go out with friends and make a little money on the side.
My goals:
Having the first career I want, now I'm taking advantage of my employer putting me through graduate school to earn my Ph.D. in math. Teaching college math is the second career I look to prepare for.
I'm looking for: As much as I value education, I want a lady who has had academic and career goals herself. Being Catholic (the way I intend to raise my kids) and staying in shape (except for when I'm partially to blame for the belly) are strongly desired. Every quality I'm seeking I have to offer in return.
