About me:

I'm a down to earth, laid back guy who likes an active lifestyle but also values a quiet night at home too. Curling up in sweatpants on the couch sounds like a blast with the right girl but so does mountain biking or skiing. I have to note up front I am a single dad of a beautiful girl that's almost 3 years old now. I have a feeling that my past two relationships didn't work out because the women weren't ready to deal with a guy with a kid. As much as they loved her to death... eventually they realized that it was something they didn't feel like handling. That broke my heart, and I dont feel like going through that again. If you have any issues with dating a guy that has a child that doesn't live with him, then you probably shouldn't message me unless you just want to be friends.

I'm relatively successful in my professional life as an engineer but I dont let it consume my life or define who I am as a person, it's just a portion of my definition. My life is my friends, family, daughter and girlfriend when i have one. Nothing is better than laughing till your cheeks hurt and I really try to do that as much as humanly possible, usually my friends help. Even if it's laughing at myself i dont care, just as long as i'm laughing.

I believe every relationship is a two-way street. I believe in being treated as you would like to be treated, and for that reason I am truthful and compassionate. I put everything I have into my work and relationships because I do not believe in regrets, only learning from mistakes.

6' tall 185-190 lbs, fit hit the gym at least 3 times a week enjoy boxing (just the workout now... used to actually box), kayaking, mtn biking, hiking, walking, fishing (all types), swimming, skiing , and just basically anything that is fun. And i love to try new stuff too... pet friendly but cats sometimes make me sneeze.... more of a dog person

I'm looking for:

My ideal girl would be able to do everything with me... She wouldn't be afraid to try new things even if they're not new to me but better if they're new to both of us at the same time. She's successful, open-minded, goal-oriented, loves kids, intelligent, appreciative, reciprocates affection, and social. Physical things that definitely make me turn my head is obviously if the girl is fit and beautiful (i like to stay fit), glasses (yes i love a woman in glasses), freckles, mesmerizing smile, a genuine t-shirt and jeans girl that can put on a dress on occasion and blow everyone away...

Over the years have determined pretty much exactly what I want in a woman and it comes down to one simple line...

Well what defines a partner you ask?

Really, it's completely objective. It's in the eyes of the beholder if you will. The definition is different for everyone i would imagine but I believe a partner shares (or tries to) everything with the one their with. They work with the person on their aspirations and expects to be helped with theirs. Partners believe in eachother, and will work toward the betterment of the relationship through ever increasing involvement in the life of the other.
