About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

Intelligent, motivated, witty, conscientious and though i might say so myself, a nice guy. Now i'm told i am funny too :-) I have an athletic build (that is athletic - not body builder), enjoy running (1/2 marathon 5 times a week), weight training and boxing five times a week, currently training for any old marathon (London, N.Y, or Everest). I just came back from Mount Everest (Nov 2007) on a 23 day trek to basecamp+ (near 20000 feet) and just found out the week after i am there they run the highest marathon in the world! I have an inclination that i might be going back again sooner than i think.

Was really good! Am going back for an Everest summit attempt 2009 or 2010! Ski trek to North pole is also on the cards.

Have a great job in a senior technical role for a large multinational, pays well & sees me travel to great conferences in Barcelona, Orlando, L.A, and the occasional headoffice trip to N.Y. I like my job so i can't complain and the pay is good! I have a zest for life and often go against the grain ;-) (my mohawk went down well at work - and i swear it works wonders as an icebreaker in the office (not literally) ;-) Oh, and wherever you are in the world, i can meet up, not always at the drop of a hat, but i can get there, steal away as it were.

Hot off the press: my latest craze, just found out about it actually, is the ultra marathon. I just read a book entitled Ultramarathon man and what a dude!!! - this guy can run 2 days and 2 nights non-stop to the tune of 220+ miles!!! So here's my thing. Before i go to Everest i have to get up one morning around midnight to 2 a.m and then run the 34 miles to work. I can not rest until i know i am an ultra marathon runner ;-) Ooooh why oh why do i have to find out about these things!!!! ;-) Hahahaha.

Anyway if i can do that a couple or three times then i'm going to have to see if i can make 50 miles. Look it up!!! This guy is incredible!

I'm looking for:

I have this thing for Iceland. Never been there, but it looks fascinating. If you look like Iceland or are from Iceland, enjoy Iceland, are fit, attractive (to me anyway :-), bubbly, interesting, and full of life, then we are a match! Tell you what, if you are all that, despite my Iceland fetish, then we are a match ;-)
