About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

I am a well adjusted, successful, independent but lonely woman. I have only one child who is now grown, employed, living in B'ham, and planning to get marry in the fall. I now can concentrate on my life and my needs. I have had to pretty much rely upon myself for much of my adult life. I am tired of being the "strong" one, the one who must see to everything. I would like someone who loves me enough to want to provide for me, be my rock as well as my friend. I am not into parties, bars, or games and am not interested in anyone who is.

I am an active person who like the outdoors. I like to work in the yard: cutting the grass, raking leaves, trying to get things to grow, etc. I like to play tennis and volleyball although I certainly am no expert. I also enjoy canoeing, fishing, and the mountains. I like to ski (both water and snow), however; I have not done either in many years. I walk for exercise; like to walk outside but go to a gym to use the treadmill when it is too hot or cold. My faith and my church are both important to me. I believe in principles and moral values.

I am a honest and trustworthy person. I love life and love to have fun. I am a happy person and others have said that I am fun to be around. I am a good friend and many confide in me as they have learned that it will go no further.

I like to go to the movies, have dinner somewhere, walk in the malls but I hate to shop. I enjoy cook- outs with family and friends. I also just enjoy being at home. I am not someone who has to constantly be on the go.

I'm looking for:

I am looking for a man who is secure in himself and what he does. One is finanically secure on his own and not looking for someone to take care of him; but,rather is looking for someone to share things/life with. I would like someone who enjoys life and sees the good/upside of things rather than someone who constantly fines something wrong with everything and everyone.

I would like to meet someone who enjoys the simple things of life. Someone who likes just to be with that special someone even if it only involves setting on the porch listening to the frogs and crickets, taking a walk together, or simply working in the yard together...but also likes evenings out ever so often. Would like someone who enjoys family and friends and doing things with them (cookouts, etc.)

I am looking for someone who has principles and moral values. Someone who knows who God is and believes in Him.

The perfect match?? Not someone I could live with but someone I could not live without. Someone who enjoys being together but also allows each other to have time of their own. Someone who knows how to treat a lady; when others are not looking as well as when out in public. In other words, someone who is the acts the same toward their partner no matter where they are or what the circumstances. I also like to show affection and would like someone who feels the same.
