About me:

I have been divorced since early '09 and have been working on reshaping this life into what I had always planned it to be. I used to call it "starting a new life" but that just never seemed right to me. The way i see it, you get one life, and it is all connected from the day you are born till the day you die. If you are not happy with the current sequence of events in your life it is up to you to do what you can to reshape it into what you want. No one else can do it for you. I do feel blessed in that my ex and I have managed to stay friends which is something we set out to do, mainly for our kids, they just don't need the added stress of their parents bickering and biting at each other on top of being divorced and apart. But we also did it for ourselves, life is to short to imprison yourself in a cloud of hatred and animosity for another person. I'm not saying it was a piece of cake getting there, and it is still a work in progress. I realize some people have a problem with the ex of a new love interest and I can understand that but whom ever I am with in the future will at least need to make a concerted effort to understand that we still have the kids in common and it will always be an issue.

With the above said at the present I am just seeking chat or e-mail friends and possibly hang out later if a good friendship arises. If something more develops then so be it, lightning can strike at the most unexpected moments. I know this should be in my description of me but oh well,I love music, mostly rock but also bits and pieces of other genre's. Movies are a huge part of my life, nothing like a good human drama to show you where you live. I enjoy them from all periods of cinema except maybe silents. My kids hate it when I'm watching "That black and white channel"(TCM)LOL. So anyway if you want to chat or e-mail give me a scream. The sky is the limit, we can talk about anything, I enjoy good conversation, it keeps the heart and mind chugging along. You never know some other kind of magic may happen as well.
