About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: A little about me...
I am

You asked me who I am
that's very hard to say
It depends on the time of year
and sometimes the time of day.

I have three grown sons
and you'll have to learn the rest.
Casual and down to earth
I rarely wear a dress

I've learned to be very handy
A Jill of many trades
Although the apt.is neat and clean, who wouldn't like a maid.

I cook, craft and spend time outside
when ever i get an chance
I have conservative views in a liberal soul
and even know how to dance.

I have a few bad habits
Procrasitination would be one
So would hiding from the snow and cold
And waiting on the sun.

I hardly ever act my age
I don't know why you would
I can be very serious
But only when I should.

Some say I'm rather pretty
and admire my eyes of green
i wouldn't brag of either
You judge when you've seen

Sports events, camp and travel,
just a few things that i do,
and if you ask me nicely
i might do them with you.

I am all grown up
that's very plain to see.
Yet often sappy movies and little animals get to me.

So i think perhaps the next time
someone asks me who i am
I will simply answer, I am Sam I am.
I'm looking for:: a man's man who know what he wants. someone that likes the little things in life, a nice bottle of wine, a fireplace, and someone to cuddle up with. possibly a sleigh ride in snow, walking in the rain holding hands, knowing I am in the next room of the same house, but you can feel me next to you, i wish someone in my life i hate to see leave in the morning and I can't wait to come to at night, long drives to no where, let the car decide. spanish coffee on the deck in the fall, and something yummy on the river to drink in the summer. late night conversations, intimate time together, great coffee, sunday mornings laying in bed, someone who can embrace the fact I am shy in public and can be the man, i wish a best friend, a lover, a partner, someone who can appreciate that I can be somewhat old fashioned, woman's lib was never my friend. someone that likes family around, or at the very least doesn't mind I do. Someone who likes animals, live sports events, and sunsets. rainbows, snow storms and live music. someone who knows the difference between making love and just having great sex, and likes both. someone who likes texts messages, valentines day, and flannel jammies. Someone slow to anger and quick to forgive. Someone who can appreciate drama on evening tv show and not in our lives. I am looking for someone close enough to where I live to realistically get to know.
