About me:

My life is full with activities, family and friends that give me considerable pleasure and satisfaction. I awake every morning with a smile on my face. I'm out and about. I'm well traveled here and abroad. I have a wide range of interests from hiking and camping in the woods to exploring art museums and galleries, towns and cities, hither and yon. I like to dance and am striving to be a better dancer. I enjoy cooking, albeit, simply. I do not seek out fine dining experiences. Eating out is something I do when I'm out and about and it is not practical to come home to eat.

One thing that I've found to be a gaping hole in the quality of my life is having a woman in my life. I miss the romance, the togetherness, the intimacy. I miss looking forward to being with her. I'm seeking an activity partner.



One with whom I can be out and about doing things that we both enjoy, interacting very much. I've found that we quickly realize if there is a mutual desire to be together. Interactions flow easily or they don't. You either enjoy being with someone or you don't. You anticipate being together again. There is just something wonderful about a smile that fills the face upon seeing one another after being apart for several days. That first hug is wonderful.


One who can share in my life style. Walking and hiking are big parts of it. I walk 5+ miles routinely. When I travel I enjoy staying in youth hostels to meet interesting people. When car traveling I'll camp in a campground if my destination is beyond a day's drive.


I am 6', 235# with minimal baggage and drama and in great physical condition. I look younger and have the persona of a man younger than the age noted above and several years younger than my real age, six years older than the age noted above. I am reasonably educated and able to maintain a conversation. I strive to be a nice person. I am very open and upfront, sometimes to a fault. I am comfortable with whom I am.
