About me and who I'm looking for
About me:
I have always wanted to have an adventurous life, so I have generally rejected doing "normal" things. I spent years travelling around Asia and Eastern Europe, mostly to places most people have never heard of and never wanted to go. I did oceanography work for many years - have a masters in it - I enjoyed the environmental part, and it allowed me to travel and get paid for it. Now I am back home in the USA and working what most people would think is an interesting job (and much of it is interesting), but I am having a difficult time getting used to being normal. I really need some good ideas about what is adventurous besides travel. I hope I can find some friends on this website who have a good sense of adventure and want to share their ideas with me.
I'm looking for:
I don't think there is any way to describe my ideal match. Everyone is different and each person has something interesting about them. I would prefer to meet people just to discover what those interesting characteristics are. It might be something I really can't imagine, and that would be even more interesting than something that I can think up and define here.
