About me:: My family background is Portuguese/Italian, but I grew up in Africa. First in Mozambique, and then, when I was 13, my parents moved to South Africa. I trained as a school teacher, and taught high school for a number of years. I have also had extensive business experience in various fields since leaving teaching.

My life has been varied and I have grabbed every opportunity, from driving tour buses to getting my pilot's licence. I am a linguist, and speak eight languages, among them French, German, Portuguese and Italian. I lived in Germany for 5 years before moving to Ireland. I am currently working in an aviation-related role based in Shannon, Co. Clare. I love cooking! My grandfather was a chef, and I learnt a lot from him, and from my mom. I enjoy good food (obvious from my photo!), good wine, and an evening in, just cuddling on the couch. I read a lot, and really enjoy movies. I enjoy a drink at the pub occasionally, but I do not make it a pilgrimage three nights a week and every weekend. I also love travelling, and thoroughly enjoy seeing new places, discovering new cultures (and trying new dishes, of course :-).
I'm looking for:: I am a man... so I need lots of love and affection. In return you'll get the same from me. I am a good listener, and I really enjoy good conversation on virtually any topic.
