RE: It's the Wrong Address

I agree. The first time someone called me Ma'am I flinched. Don't cal ME ma'am. I am not there yet! Like my truck..it's a 76. And in town someone says look at the old truck, I look around for a 40-60. When I realize they mean mine..WT? 76 is not an old truck!
And now realize one can put collector plates on a 2000 model. ARGH! I am 70. Don't feel it, think it. Others don't believe it. But, have to face the fact..like dad told me on my birthdays..remember..no pig gets that old.
Sometimes though I wish people did realize my age and give me a bit of concessions;why am I expected to take care of YOU! Where is my help?
Old used to look like Granny Clampet or Pa Kettle. Age doesn't get respect unless you are the Queen. Now the old are still the care takers and care givers. Expected to keep working to death cause the young won't. Am I happy to still function..yep. But, would be nice if someone pampered ME for a change. Didn't I earn it YET?sigh

We both live in the Minneapolis area (Dating)
She send me a " wink", saying she was interested in knowing me. We shared about 7 e-mails. We agreed to meet at the Mystic Lake Casino, at 10 am. On a Tuesday, when it wasn't too crowded. When we meet, we hugged, the feeling was natural. We are planning to meet for a cookout next weekend. We're both happy, marriage is a very possible. Thanks to agelessfishes

Here is my story about how Bob and I met.

I had previously met this man last summer through a website agelessfishes.com,and we had gone out for a while. Then, for a while, we had stopped. Then, about a week ago, he contacted me again, wishing to get together again. He started calling me again every night and e-mailing me. We got together again and we're now really enjoying our visits together again just like before and feel this time, it's really going to work out for us!

RE: I like my age

I agree. In fact I wouldn't want to be back in my 20's for anything! The only drawback to being in my 50's is lack of eligible men!!
