In 1890, a down-and-out cowboy and his horse travel to Arabia to compete in a deadly cross desert horse race.
The real "Hidalgo" was my grandfather's horse and he was Native American and I have been trying to do a geneology despite my great ancestors(Native American "great grandparents) getting killed there was a name change, for my Native American Grandfather had been wondering around the mountains of southwest and was taken in by a Mexican family and gave my Grandfather, their sir-name.

Hidalgo?! As I saw the cover of this movie, I thought, oh nice a Cowboy movie. At the end of this movie, I had tears in my eyes. This movie is one of my "all time favorites". This mix of a Biography and action is amazing, the story is awesome. Another "must see" in my sight. I love this movie!
