Fantasatic collection of (almost)all Jim's studio work during his lifetime. 446 tracks in all, from his 1949 demo recordings right through to his final recordings on July 11, 1964, just three weeks before his sad passing in a plane crash just 6 miles from the RCA studios where he made his finest recordings.

Includes; "Mexican Joe", "Bimbo", "Four Walls", "He'll Have To Go", "I Love You Because", "I Won't Forget You" and his monster smash hit "Distant Drums" released two years after his death.

Excellent release

About this Music

(16-CD LP-sized box set with 124-page book). Here's the main course for Jim Reeves fans. This is the complete career retrospective. Complete! 447 recordings! It includes all of Jim's recordings for Macy's, Fabor, Abbott, and RCA. All the singles, all the albums, all the unissued titles we could find (more than 75!), all the overdubbed demos that charted, and all other demo recordings. Many tracks are in stereo for the first time. There's a 124-page book with hundreds of photos - most previously unpublished.

Jim Reeves was one of the few country artists with a unique and completely original style, and this is a colossal and fitting tribute to a man who did more than anyone to broaden the boundaries of country music and bring it to a wider audience.
