The Backslidder

I am a born-again Christian backslidder. As I look back over the years before I experienced the new birth, I must admit that I hadn't any really consistent spiritual training, instruction, guidance or discipline. Therefore, perhaps it wasn't surprising to those unlookers who grew up serving God.
It saddens me that many are the numbers of children who, like I will not be provided spiritual nourishing throughout their early years. Even if the parents refuse to attend a Spirit-filled Church they should be loving enough to see to it their children attend.
A priest once told me that three reasons that cause a convert to fall away from the faith are: Lack of prayer, bible study and Christian fellowship.
I know it's a long way back but I am going to try. Your prayers would be appreciated.
