why can't you see me

as i am holding
you in my arms
with your tears
running down my face
as each tear drop falls
burning a hole
in my soul
i wonder why
can't you see me

i wonder what
kind of demon
could break
your heart
and cause you
pain like this
i wonder what
kind of demon
can cause you
this kind of pain
and not care
how bad they hurt you.

i wonder how
you can cry
so many tears
for a demon
who is puting you
through this pain
i wonder as
i am holding
you in my arms
as your heart
beats against my
i wonder why
you can't see me

i wonder as your
heart is beating
against my
why you cannot
feel the love
my heart holds for you
i wonder why
after of all
this time being
here for you
you cannot know
in your heart
how much i love you

i wonder when
you look into my eyes
you cannot see
the love my heart
holds for you
i wonder how
you cannot know
my love for you is true

i wonder why
you can't see me
as i see you

you run to me
when someone
else breaks your heart
but you can't see me

his name out in your sleep
i wonder why
you cannot call my name out

who is here for you now

who's arms you are in now

who loves you with true love

break your heart

why you can't see me

for she does she you
but she doesn't
see you as you see her
my son she does love you
but she does not
love you as you love her

she keeps running
back to you

be there for her

for that is why
she runs back to you
when other's hurt her
