The Creeper

From the edge of the night he creeps
While the darkened city sleeps
Nobody knows his devious plan
He is the epitome of an evil man
This type of evil nobody knows
Leaves behind fear wherever he goes
This man has never shed a tear
His smile more like sneer
Boldly, he walks through someones front gate
Laughing inside, this man filled with hate
He finds the back door left unlocked
Wouldn't let him in had he have knocked
He finds a girl about seven or eight
Yes, this is the one he wants to take
Take her away into the dark
Forever extinguish this bright young spark
He covers her mouth as she tries to scream
This nightmare that disturbed her dream
How he loved the look on her face
Then he took her to his special place
Whistling haughtily, back at his lair
Innocence so pure but he doesn't care
And soon he will slowly steal it away
He started his work without too much delay
In a moment filled with furied rage
Can't go back, not at this stage
Not that he would given the chance
He lives life in a murderous trance
He takes the lives of so many others
Caused pain in the heart of so many mothers
He takes her body and buries her deep
Put her to rest for that endless sleep
Leave her there for eternity to come
Never again will she see the sun
Again that night, he quietly creeps
Looking for another life to keep
Sniffing out where innocence dwells
There is no other place for this man but hell
