"I Promise You "

weeping young lady heard what she never wanted to, that dreaded D word, days passed then a promise made to her, sweetie we really had to divorce, I know it's been alot of years, it'll be better this way in time, tear'd eyes both, they sit..... I'm going to make you a promise ..... I'll never just settle, I'll wait for that right person to come along, I'm making this promise to you because, to just settle the tears you cried that day would have been in vain as i hurt your heart for no reason.

I decided to write this today, to share in hopes that when you divorce an the kids get hurt. To just settle an get back into the same kind of relationship. Would have been better to stay married, rather than hurt their hearts for no reason!
