Until I Caught a Tear

Author: turnip73

Tiny drops, streaming down,
So sad to see.
Broken hearts, Broken dreams,
Too bad for me.
All I ever wanted was the best for you,
But I was too wrong to be.

I've caught hell,
Caught up in those games,
Caught up in my fear.
I've laid it down,
All my life,
Until I caught a tear.

I reached out, grabbed your face,
Pulled it up to see.
Welling up in your eyes,
You hurt because of me.
All I ever wanted was to be the man,
But I was too wrong to be.

I've caught hell,
Caught up in those games,
Caught up in my fear.
I've laid it down,
All my life,
Until I caught a tear.

I will bring it back,
The light in your eyes.
I will be the one,
That makes your spirit fly.

I've caught hell,
Caught up in those games,
Caught up in my fear.
I've laid it down,
All my life,
Until I caught a tear.
Reaching out,
To catch the blame,
I'm sorry my dear.
I never thought,
It`d cause this pain,
Until I caught a tear.
Until I caught a tear.

Truly a beautiful inspiration poem.

It moved me and I felt as though I could feel your pain, even though I'm alien to it. :]

I wish you luck in the restoration of Your Love's light.
