Smoke and Mirrors...

Smoke and mirrors
elation then tears..
why does it always have to be this way.
One minute it's I love yous.
And the next it's I can't do this anymore..
The saddest part is just when I think
that we are where we are meant to be..
You go and change the scenery..
And everything reverts right back to blame..
It's always the same..
I just never know, because I never quite see it coming..
One minute you're there with me, and the next you are running..
Wish that I could reach you...
but seems it's destined to be...
Smoke and mirrors..
Wish it didn't always have to be this way..
And you can't always bring someone around to
your way of thinking..
that's a given, but there should at least be
some give and take....
But never certain heartbreak..
And smoke and mirrors.
