Sift

S I F T

Time to sift
Time to grow
Time to graduate
Time to let go

So much inside
That doesn’t sift through
Can’t poke the holes
So it goes away

These are feelings
You’ll always remember
These intense moments

It depends on you
If you want to let go
Still trying to reach out
And touch their hands

Such soft fingers
That float out in space
Longing the touch of
Something not tangible

The yearning to reach
Something greater than you
The agony, the sorrow
Of something you cannot change

The feelings flow out
Through the symbol of tears
Why did God give us
These tears that express

Feelings unlimited
Make you cry in excess
You can’t stop the tears
You can’t stop the stress

It’s so hard to let go
And so there you cling on
Letting feelings take over
Like an avalanche of snow

You can’t let it sift through
You can’t let it just flow
There’s no price to pay
To just letting it go

hi..

an avalanche of snow cant do a thing to a rock with life in it.avalanches come and go,changes are natural in existence if you get carried away by time..i think it is better to be in the present always... past future and present all in one momoent..i think there is surely a prize awaiting when one lets go...one has to be be bold..thumbs up peace
