The torpid Field

The Torpid Field

Though you appear as an innocent aged field
upon your earth my secret lust is concealed.
Your thorny thatch my naked body scathed
when in passion I did adulterously behave!
You wronged me as I did my faithful mate
that night when lustful loins did not abate!
Scratched body and nettle rashed skin
could not stop us commit our loving sin.
Still unkept you stretch for all to see,
a daily eyesore in the guilty life of me!
