... soul without shoes ...
Author: neamaepeople,
that walk barefoot through life
give themselves deliberately
to the vulnerability
they reject
the protection
of a sole at their soul
so that they can perceive
the way that they follow
with sensitive feet
they know
how it feels
to stand on damp soft grass
or how fine, hot sand
slides under the feet
just as much
as they also know the pain
that the walking over pebble stones causes
and they are aware
that also with the biggest care
they can’t walk around
every fragment
nevertheless
they don’t want to exclude
the daily unevenness of life
out of their soul
many people
carry through their entire existence shoes
earmarked foot garment
usefully and troublesome
at the same time
impenetrable working shoes
steadily against acid and steel protection
the soul is protected best
against any injuries
unfortunately these shoes are heavy
and look unsightly
and a soft light jumping
is no longer possible in them
or noble high heels
they are admired of everyone
however
they are totally unfit
in order to traverse longer distances with them
and often
the sharp heel steps on toes
and hurts others
or the rotten, old house slippers
terribly comfortable
but hopelessly worn out
for heavy terrain impossible to use
just as the easy beach slippers
thin, cheap things
in all forms and colors
quickly put on
and thrown away just as fast
which sort of shoes do you wear at your soul?
Do you still know how it feels to walk barefoot,
Or did you already forgot?
