Lost at Sea

Author: lookylou

Being bound
By a bra
A wrist watch
A cell phone
I don't like it

Being on a tight leash
A tight schedule
On another’s calendar
Makes my skin crawl

The freedom
Of a window without shades
An open gate
A full gas tank
Sheds the itchy skin that
Protects me

To be free enough
To fall
To skin my knee
To feel sand between toes
Grass under feet
To give in to the currents
Lost at sea
